Run, Pastor Run is an ultra-marathon event designed to raise funds for the building of a multi-purpose church facility that will serve and enhance people’s lives living in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs. We believe that the church is the hope of the world; and that community transformation can become a reality.
We have a dream to influence, activate and empower everyday Australians to experience personal transformation in every area of their lives. We see a multi-purpose facility built, where people of all ages will have access to quality community services and programs that will enhance their lives. This includes a convention centre, counselling services, welfare services, youth programs, family support services; as well as Christian-based programs that we believe will bring positive change in the community.
We are so committed to seeing this dream become a reality that a team of runners, led by the Senior Pastor, Corey Turner, of Activate Church Melbourne, will be running from Sydney to Melbourne, in relay style, covering approximately 900 kms, in an attempt to raise funds!
